Entry One: Grokg
During the Grudgestone and Frosthammer siege of Dok Karaz this greenskin foiled every attempt to enter the gates and, when they finally shattered he continued to harass the throng from the ramparts. Many were felled by this fiend and all the while he wore upon his face a mask with which he mocked us, the attackers. This grudge must be repaid.

Let the sages take note... and let every Grudgestone rejoice as this debt has been repaid in full. Five times had the hammer struck this beast... and fives times had he fallen at the hands of Dorfflerim and Durrag.

From Barak Varr to the marshes, this greenskin holds no place within our lands. Last eve this was proven, and done so in the name of the Grudgestones.

5524, 283rd Day

Two kinsmen were killed today by Greenskins while the clan muster was pinned in the mountains north of Ekrund. I myself saw them fall to grobi sword-blows. As though this outrage were not enough, the grobi later hacked their beards from their faces and wore them as a disguise with which to try to infiltrate our camp.

For each dwarf who fell, ten orcs must pay.

Addendum: 5524, 292nd Day

Ambushed along the road to the Badlands. Greenskins descended upon our caravan like a fury. Three tallies made against them, but they slew two more of our number. Asabelle lost an uncle in the fray. This brings the count to five.

Fifty grobi heads will fall before this grudge has been payed.

5524, The Grudge of Elsegald

While discussing the matter of Dwarfen beer in a tavern on the road outside of Altdorf, the Grudgestones were accosted by this drunken sot. He at once sent to belittling our people and to swearing up and down that Dwarfs didn't bathe. When the words grew hot and heated he refused to back down and, after smashing a tankard on his skull and vacating the tavern to avoid upsetting the local Imperials, we must be certain to record the name and insults of this thief and vagrant in full.

Elsegald was his name, and may it be known to all Grudgestones that we bear him a mighty grudget for his foolish and imprudent words! By Grimnir's axe, he will rot in the Abyss before any Grudgestone gives him aid or succor!

5524, The Grudge of Ladrea

Let it be known that on this day a kinslayer, a betrayer, an oathbreaker, shattered the alliance of the High King Thorgrim Grudgebearer. May Grungni see him safely to the Halls of the Ancestors! The Grudgestone clan-kin sought respite in gorog and throgg at the house of the Redhammer clan. Many drinks were drunk. Much food was eaten. The Redhammer waystation swarmed with oathbreaker elgi, with whom peace has been sworn. Let it never be said that a Grudgestone broke the accord! Elgi are known for their treachery. Lorekeeper Ormir Snorrisson was concerned for his people. Many elgi had come to despoil the hall of feasts with their clamors. Two of the kinslayers seemed prepared to fight and shed blood in a place of repast. Ormir could stand it not, for his clan-kin had seen too much slaughter in the places of peace. Bravely did he confront the elgi and demand their wrongs be taken from the hall.

An unknown elgi, engaged with neither side in this conflict came upon them. She may be recognized by her unnecessary height, her haughty bearing, and her blue-scarfed face which she hid like a coward. She spoke in rude tones to the Lorekeeper. May his beard grow long! He demanded that the kinslayer hold her tongue. The elgi duel seemed about to begin. He would not let blood spill here. In return, this faithless coward placed her hands upon ancestral armour and pushed against the honored Lorekeeper. He did issue warning that she not lay hands on him again; he did not break the oath sworn by the High King and slay her where she stood though the shame burned in his veins. The elgi insisted upon pushing again. Ormir demanded recompense, for now the accord was truly broken.

The accounting for this elgi has been given by another kinslayer that is known by the name Pharrael Daimitov. Let it be recorded that even after he spoke for this oathbreaker, she proceeded to feather the aged runesmith Arnfinn Thorinsson with a shaft strung from her bow. Her debt is not repaid.

The clan recognizes this elgi to bear a debt against us, and will not cease in seeking repayment. The elgi who has wronged us must either admit that she is an oathbreaker before her own kin and king, relent to the judgement of High King Grudgebearer, and depart forever from Dwarfen land or else she must die at the hands of Grudgestone clan-kin. Let it be known that no Grudgestone will offer her aid, shelter, or weal in this time of war. Let it be known that all who associate with her are forever marked as friends of oathbreakers and kinslayers.

---

Let it be shown that this accounting has been updated: the name of this elgi betrayer is Ladrea. The mark of her evils persists and must be stamped out.
